good to know, everyone! And thanks for the welcome. In everyone's opinion, what is a decent price? I had them worked on years ago, and at that time I was told they were worth about $1000. Not sure if that is the case now, or what the market is...

And yes, the fees on Fleabay

are getting ridiculous!

You were misled a bit. they weren't worth $1000 then. More like $700-800.

The 604 is the better of the two. For a single in good shape maybe 600-700

The 602 is worth less. Substantially less. I've seen good pairs that couldn't get a $500 offer. If you could get any offer over $200 I'd consider it.

You could try selling together. If mine I'd sell separately. They aren't a pair. One was likely running as mono and perhaps the other added to give stereo. I's not uncommon to find older speakers as singles.

I didn't get charged for shipping fees when I sold my 604 C's, but It did cost me $250 (10%) to Flea Pay and $80 (2.39%)to pay pal to sell them.

eBay fees are calculated on both the selling and shipping so you do pay fees on the shipping collected. Same at PayPal. Used to be eBay didn't charge on shipping. But jerk sellers were listing items that were 16 bucks and 4 bucks shipping at a dollar and 19 bucks shipping to avoid fees.

I just sold 7 items/listings and i was charged separately for (Final Value,Shipping,Paypal) fees. the insertion fees were waived.. In the end it tallied quite a bit of money. I no longer care much for Ebay/Paypal after all the BS I had to go through with an International seller ! I will no longer ship anything to Japan.I should have taken my own advice and not sell International.. Take a hit in price but it's worth not having the headaches IMO.

Ebay has some sort of new international shipping program, that I have not explored. Some of the serious foreign bidders have US shipping address's........ I can only figure that they're filling up shipping containers. So I think I've been able to benifet from foreign sales without haveing to go through the hassle of foreign shipping.
